Best This Week In Personal Finance | Yes, I Am Cheap

Posted by Sandy on August 7th, 2011

It?s three o?clock in the morning and I am sitting on the bed at a no-tell motel that I?ve overpaid for since I won?t use the hourly rate.? I?m two states and 3.5 hours away finally nearing the end of my renovation of my rental house.? It?s been?fun, hell, interesting.? I am literally seeing cross-eyed, so if there are tons of typos, they stay and I will revise them later. But that doesn?t mean that I can?t share some of the best posts that I found this week on personal finance.

  1. Cash Flow Manta had My Apologies to the Economy.? This post was kind of funny since it highlighted all of things that politicans think that we should be doing to stimulate the economy.
  2. Thousandaire had Free Birth Control is not Free .? We can agree to disagree as long as we agree that when we disagree I?m write anyway.? :)
  3. If you?re over 30 and have little retirement savings, you should read Playing the Retirement Catch-Up Game in Your Forties
  4. If you?re panicked because the stock market dropped than you should read? The Dow Dropped 512 Points Yesterday So What? by Mark Riddix.
  5. Len Penzo does this every year and I promise that I always wait for it. It?s the 3rd Annual Brown Bag Survey: The 10 Most Economical Sandwiches, ?cause you know I?m cheap.

Okay that?s it!? I?m off to dream land.? If anyone wants to help with a renovation project, I could use another set of hands.
