Money is impacting the snowsports world. The second event where snowboarders earn points to qualify for the Sochi Winter Olympics in February 2014 has been canceled.

Organizers in Stockholm have canceled the Nov. 17 Snowboard World Cup ?due to economical reasons.?

An event scheduled for London later this month was nixed last month because of money issues.

This season is when athletes begin earning points for the next Winter Games.
