Fantasy sports have gained immense popularity these days. Daily fantasy sports such as cricket, soccer, baseball, basketball and other sports are played by individuals all over the world. Nowadays, fantasy sports are as much a vehicle for social networking as Facebook, twitter and various other social networking sites.
Those who are unfamiliar of what fantasy sports are, here?s a brief description. In fantasy sports, a team of 10 to 12 people join a league before the season starts. Pretty much every major game has a fantasy associated with it. Prior to the first day of the season match, the team owners get together online to build teams of real players from real teams, assembling them in accordance with the league rules. When the season starts, they place players on various factors such as healthy vs. Injured, good vs. Bad matchups and so on. The teams are then given credits for the actual statistics each player tells. The goal of the fantasy sports is to end the season as the best team in the standings and to win the matches, depending upon how the league is set up.
However this may sound rather pointless to many of you, but these games play a much more crucial role than killing time and may be spending a little cash.
